Chemdawg, or Chemdog, is a balanced strain with a 45/55 sativa to indica ratio, offering both cerebral stimulation and physical relaxation. It boosts creativity and helps with insomnia while relaxing muscles. With THC levels reaching 19%, it’s relatively potent, characterized by a strong spicy, plant-like taste and diesel undertone that might give away its presence. It’s notably used to create the famous Sour Diesel strain. Despite its popularity, Chemdawg’s origins remain mysterious, with rumors linking it to a Grateful Dead concert and a grower named Chemdog. It’s effective for anxiety, pain, depression, ADHD, migraines, arthritis, and PMS, although it may cause dry mouth and eyes. Primarily found on the West Coast, in Nevada, and Colorado, it’s occasionally available on the black market, albeit rarely.
